Every other year, I listen to all of the music in my collection. Often, I discover new things about music I'm familiar with or learn new things about songs I'm not as familiar with. This is where I'll be documenting that.

John Lennon's "Imagine"
I'm currently listening to a compilation album of John Lennon. I'd never noticed the sort of expanding nature of the piano at the beginning of "Imagine." It starts out sounding distant but still centered, and then after about fifteen seconds, it fills out the sonic sphere, so to speak. It works well as a musical representation of the border pushing that the lyrics relate.
