Bread's "London Bridge"

This morning I listened to Bread's Anthology.  I'm fairly familiar with this album, but for the first time I realized that during some sections of "London Bridge," there's a descending phrase in the backing vocals (I'm pretty sure it's B, A, G#), reflecting the lines about London Bridge falling down in the lyrics.
